Prepared or Natural Childbirth means teaching and understanding methods to cope with normal childbirth and understanding the natural sequence of events in labor and delivery. This gives Mom choices as to how to have her baby and along with her partner allows her to make these choices based on information, not fear or ignorance. Childbirth classes encompass different aspects of all the "Methods" available today. My class uses parts of these methods as well as incorporates many of my own personal ideas.

Reunion party is held after all babies are born! I host a celebration about two months after the last class baby is born.

The class is for the pregnant woman and anyone she chooses to take the class with her: partner, husband, family member or friend.

I am happy to provide a certificate of completion if your health insurance company reimburses for childbirth education classes.

I strongly encourage women to take classes early in pregnancy. Therefore, if your due date is three or four months past the end of a class series, that's not a problem at all.

Also, if your due date falls very close to the end of a series and you cannot find another good class option, contact me and we'll see what we can work out.

I enjoy teaching all women and my classes are generally diverse; married couples, unmarried couples, and single women are all more than welcome.
